Every Child in Israel

 

As of 2012, 2,626,400 children (birth to age 18) live in Israel, making up 32.9% of Israel's population. 

 

 

  • Every third person in Israel is a child.

  • (Almost) every child in Israel is enrolled in the education system.

  • (Almost) every child in Israel received the majority of vaccinations.

  • Every second child in Israel experienced one kind of violence or another by an adult.

  • Every third child in Israel is poor.
