AMERICAN FRIENDS OF THE ISRAEL NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THE CHILD

Assuring children's rights and well-being is one of humanity's most urgent tasks.​



Children make up over 30% of Israel’s population. Whereas they are considered to be a future human resource for Israeli society - and rightfully so, first and foremost they are people today. Israeli children not only deserve a promising future but also protection, welfare, health and respect now, in the present, while they are children.



​Israel's National Council for the Child (NCC) has been promoting the rights and wellbeing of all children in Israel for almost 30 years. The NCC, an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization, is rich in experience, knowledge and the ability to influence, and diligently and courageously speaks for the children.

 

 

 

 

 

The American Friends of the Israel National Council for the Child, a non-profit organization, was founded by a group of individuals concerned with the wellbeing of children in Israel and interested in bringing about real change on their behalf.



The American Friends of the Israel National Council for the Child exists to raise awareness of, and support for, the Israel National Council for the Child in their work to protect the rights, welfare and wellbeing of all children in Israel and to bring forth significant social change for Israel's children.

 

We are very proud that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to programs that protect and promote the well-being of children in Israel.  No administrative deduction is made from grants and contributions.
